Our 5mm Twice Screened Recycled Soil is a budget-friendly, environmentally conscious option for general landscaping, levelling, and groundworks. This soil is screened down to 5mm for a finer finish than our standard 10mm version, offering improved workability while still being suitable for large-scale projects.

It’s a practical choice for landscapers and contractors looking for cost-effective fill or base material, especially where high nutrient content isn’t a priority — such as under turf, in non-decorative beds, or for building up levels.

Please note: This product is made from recycled earth, diverted from landfill. Although care has been taken during the screening process, debris or fragments of waste and stones may be present. The soil colour and consistency may vary depending on the batch.

Delivery Area Coverage: We deliver across Maidstone, Medway, Sittingbourne, Isle of Sheppey, West Malling, Gravesend, and Faversham, and also cover DA and BR postcodes, including areas such as Dartford, Bexleyheath, and Bromley.

What is 5mm Twice Screened Recycled Soil?

This soil is made from recycled earth diverted from landfill, screened twice through a 5mm mesh to remove large clumps, rubble, and oversized debris. It provides a finer texture than our standard 10mm version, making it easier to level and spread — ideal for general garden use, turf preparation, or filling low spots.

Turf Preparation: A cost-effective sub-base for laying new turf.
Levelling & Filling: Ideal for raising levels, filling holes, or reshaping garden areas.
General Landscaping: Suitable for non-decorative beds or areas that will be covered.

Coverage Guidance:

One tonne typically covers:

5–6 m² at a depth of 100mm
