Type 3 Limestone Sub-base is a durable, free-draining aggregate commonly used for permeable construction projects. Unlike MOT Type 1, Type 3 contains a reduced amount of fines, allowing water to drain through the material while still providing a strong and stable sub-base when properly compacted.
It is ideal for use beneath permeable driveways, patios, paving and other areas where effective drainage is required. Type 3 Limestone is particularly suited to Sustainable Drainage Systems (SuDS) and projects where a free-draining sub-base is specified.
Colour and appearance may vary depending on the supplier and source of the limestone.
